Jaya Bachchan's Mother Indira Bhaduri Is Alive And Well; Undergoing Spine Treatment
Indira Bhaduri, veteran actor and current Member of Parliament Jaya Bachchan's mother and Amitabh Bachchan's mother-in-law is alive and well. News reports claiming that she passed away today in Bhopal are fake and baseless. After a confirmation from her son-in-law Rajeev Verma, sources found out that the 94-year-old Bhaduri is alive and healthy. However, as per her caretakers statements she did sustain a fracture in the spinal cord and is currently in the hospital for treatment. But, aside from that she is perfectly healthy. Reports say that she is taking her meals properly and also talking normally.
Jaya Bachchan's mother Indira Bhaduri recently fractured her spine and is now receiving treatment at a hospital. According to reports, she has also had few medical issues in the past for instance, she was suffering from cardiac issues and also had trouble breathing. She has been under medical supervisions for a long time. In the year 2023, she had also undergone pacemaker surgery in Mumbai. After that she was admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital on December 6.
This year, due to her medical condition, Indira Bhaduri did not participate much in the Durga puja celebrations in Bhopal, reports say. She was only present for a brief period of time.
