J&K Declares Containment Zones Amid Mystery Virus Outbreak To WHO Issuing Guidelines On Marburg Prevention: Top Stories
HEALTH NEWS LIVE BLOG: The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) government on Wednesday declared Badhaal village in Rajouri a containment zone following reports of 17 mysterious deaths, sparking widespread concern. As per reports, prior to their deaths, the patients complained of fever, pain, nausea, intense sweating, and loss of consciousness. They died within days of being admitted to hospitals.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued new guidelines to prevent the spread of the deadly Marburg virus, a highly infectious hemorrhagic fever with the potential to cause global health emergencies.
