James Gandolfini, who was best known for playing Tony Soprano in 'The Sopranos,' died in Italy on June 19 of a heart attack. He was 51. Gandolfini is believed to have died from a heart attack, TMZ.com reported. He had come to Italy to attend the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, and was scheduled to participate in a festival event with Italian director Gabriele Muccino this weekend. Gandolfini is survived by his wife Deborah Lin, who gave birth to the pair's daughter in October 2012, he also has a teenage son from an earlier marriage.

Recent reports have revealed the actor had a huge meal which amounted to 2730 calories before washing it down with at least eight alcoholic drinks before he succumbed to the heart attack. James ordered back-to-back portions of fried prawns with mayonnaise chilli sauce and a large portion of foie gras for his last meal with his 13-year-old son, Michael, the Mirror reported. He also downed two rounds of pina colada, each with two rum chasers on the side, followed by two beers.

A source at the Boscolo Exedra Roma hotel's outdoor restaurant said that nearly everything that the actor ordered was fried. Michael found James collapsed in their hotel room; just three hours after the father-son duo had their meal on Wednesday night. Registered nutritionist Dr Carina Norris said that the meal would have added up to around 2,730 calories and the average amount that is needed by a man is about 2,500 for the whole day.
