If there is one challenge that working mothers face today, it is getting their little ones to eat healthily and inculcate healthy habits. Spending quality time with kids is a challenge in itself. That's something that the mother of two and Bollywood actress, Karisma Kapoor does effortlessly. 'I have always been a responsible person. So being a responsible mother came naturally to me', she says. The actor has taken a sabbatical to bring up her kids. She is often seen endorsing products and brands like McCain that promote easy cooking for mothers. Read on to find out more about her views on healthy eating and parenting.

Make sure your kids eat right

Making sure that her children are eating healthy is also one of her major concerns. 'Children always want to eat something that looks attractive and tastes different. You need to keep experimenting with recipes to make sure they are eating nutritious food and not just junk or unhealthy food. Be a role model

Even though she is a celeb mom and has professional commitments, she makes sure that she is available for her kids. She smiles and says, 'Spending quality time with my kids is paramount to me. I believe that parents are your first role models. I want to be a role model for my children which is why I make sure that I am spending enough time with them. Her advice to modern mothers? 'Trust your instincts as a mother is what I have learned. My mom instilled these core values in us like honesty, hard work, loving and respecting your family and spending time with your family.
