Amid health speculation, US President Donald Trump has been 'missing from public view' and people are curiosity has mounted about his whereabouts. Internet users have driven the speculation amid his health concerns, especially around the persistent bruising on his hand.
Donald Trump has not been seen in public over the last few days, and a Washington-based publication added more fuel to the fire by not listing any public events for Trump on August 30 and 31.
Currently, phrases like "Trump Is Dead", "Is Trump Dead" have taken over the social media platforms, especially X (previously Twitter).
One internet user wrote, "President Trump hasn't been seen in public since Tuesday and has no events scheduled all weekend. There are rumours saying he's dead. I think he just has a big golf tournament to play." Another remarked, "I'm not saying Trump is dead. I'm just saying he hasn't been seen in 3 days, has no public appearances scheduled for the next 3 days, has had swollen ankles, trouble walking, bruises on his hand with vein issues, and his VP said yesterday he's ready to step in."
Despite all the speculations, Vice President JD Vance's recent remarks in an interaction have also fuelled concerns over Trump's health.
"He's the last person making phone calls at night, and he's the first person who wakes up and the first person making phone calls in the morning. Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people," Vance said during the interaction.
"And if, God forbid, there's a terrible tragedy, I can't think of better on-the-job training than what I've gotten over the last 200 days."
US President Donald Trump was last seen with a noticeable bruise on the back of his right hand in the People's House Museum on Friday. Health concerns are mounting over Donald Trump's health as the 79-year-old was spotted on several occasions with heavy makeup on his hands to what appeared to be a large patch of foundation while visiting an exhibition.
