This bizarre news might freak you out. A 10-month-old child old baby of a couple from Colima, Mexico is so overweight that he almost weighs as an average nine-year-old. Isn't is shocking According to media reports, Luis Manuel Gonzales, the baby we are talking about was born at a normal 8lbs, but now when he is just 10-month old he weighs almost 62lbs and doctors are unable to find an explanation for his condition. However, bid speculations are made that he is suffering from a rare genetic condition called Prader Willi syndrome (PWS).

Prader Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic disorder that can cause physical, behavioural and mental problems in humans. It is a condition that witnesses loss of function of specific genes. This condition starts to show it symptoms from the beginning of childhood or even in infancy and can lead to intellectual impairment. The person affected tends to become hungry constantly. The person suffering from Prader Willi syndrome because of constant eating also tends to develop obesity and type 2 diabetes. This rare condition has no cure to date and it affects 1 in 30,000 people in both males and females. The condition is named after Andrea Prader, Heinrich Willi, and Alexis Labhart in the year 1956.

The symptoms of this rare condition are many and are classified into different age groups. From poor muscle tone during infancy to behavioural problems in early childhood, the symptoms are very clear and out there. However here are a few physical and behavioural symptoms among that you should know.
