The government has invited by June 25 suggestions on the draft National Water Framework Bill and the draft Model Bill for Conservation Protection Regulation and Management of Ground Water. The Ministry of Water Resources River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation has uploaded the draft bills on its website the ministry said on Friday. Conservation of water is the need of the hour. The Water Framework Bill provides an overarching national legal framework based on principles for protection conservation regulation and management of water as a vital and stressed natural resource under which legislation and executive action on water at all levels
