He may have the hottest body in the industry, but now John Abraham is all set to take it to the next level for his role in Shoojit Sircar s Jaffna . The movie is a political thriller that requires him to be 8 to 9 kg leaner. John Abraham is also producing the thriller which will go on the floors by early next year. Director Shoojit Sircar has asked him to lose all the flab and tone up his lean muscle quotient. John is currently gearing up for a three month long intense workout regime.
The actor had previously lost about 20 kg for the movie Shootout at Wadala, in which he stuck to a diet of fish, sushi, protein shakes, juices and soups. All set to launch his new line of gyms, JA Fitness, he feels that there is no harm gaining and losing weight in succession if it is done gradually. John has always been the natural athletic type who played football and basketball in his youth. He is a mesomorph a body type which gains or loses weight quickly.
This makes it easier for them to lose weight or pile on the muscles compared to ectomorphs and endomorphs. John plans to go about the weight loss process by reducing his protein and carbohydrate intake. His trainer Vinod Channa, says that people born with his body type are the athletic type. Even if they do few exercises or not exactly accurate forms of exercise, they get results quickly. His workouts usually concentrates on two body parts a day chest and triceps on day one, back and abs on day 2, lower body on day 3 and cardio on all other days. John plans to maximize his workout routine to one that suits a leaner body frame. Apart from all the hard work he says that leading a healthy lifestyle is of utmost importance for weight loss.
