2014 is almost nearing its end but before we welcome 2015, let's take a step back and look at a few celebs who were in the limelight in the health and fitness circle. Be it for their contributions, for their amazing transformations or for their revelations -- these celebs made headlines in 2014. Here's our round-up of 10 such Indian as well as international celebs.

Shah Rukh Khan

The 'Badshah' of Bollywood made headlines this year with his 10-pack abs! A first for the industry, the actor pulled it off just before his 49th birthday. This was for his movie 'Happy New Year' where he played a street fighter. Since there was some backlash on how he managed to get such a ripped physique, Shah Rukh also released his workout video showing him training hard and sweating it out in-between shots. Hrithik Roshan

The actor who was in the news for several reasons, is ending the year on a high by being voted 'The Sexiest Man in Asia' for the fourth time. His divorce from may have left him emotionally vulnerable, but Hrithik looked super-hot in 'Bang Bang' which got millions of girls gushing about his physique. Aamir also made headlines for his film PK right from the poster release which had him looking very ripped, naked, covering his modesty with a transistor.

This year Ranveer completed four years in the Bollywood industry; and the flamboyant actor decided to do what most actors shy away from -- he endorsed a condom brand and promoted safe sex. He first appeared in a video called 'Do the Rex' which had him rapping and encouraging more sex but with protection. And on World AIDS Day, he again made a video where he spoke about how talking about sex should no longer be a taboo in India.

Tim Cook

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced in public this year that he's gay. The revelation may have taken people by surprise but it certainly was a proud feeling for him. He said in an interview, 'While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven t publicly acknowledged it either, until now. Kim truly owned 2014. She broke the internet with a naked photo shoot where her voluptuous derri re was on full display balancing a champagne glass and if that wasn't enough, she even shared a full frontal image wearing nothing. This shoot was essentially to feel confident about her body after giving birth to her daughter North West and planning her second pregnancy. Amanda Bynes

The troubled actress was constantly in the news for her mental illness and behaviour this year. She was in a psychiatric facility where she was given treatment for bipolar disorder and maniac depression.
