Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan starer Bang Bang has already garnered enough attention from its trailer and one thing that stands out is Hrithik's fit body and Katrina's hotness quotient. Katrina is seen in various looks, appearing gorgeous in each of them. Be it for a glamorous night or one which is absolutely casual and chic or simply that of a a care-free lass enjoying the beach waves; Katrina has sported all these looks with equal flamboyance. Here is how you can use some make-up tips to sport similar looks.
Glamorous evening/night look
Intense eyes
To begin with you need to go bold on the eyes. Try the dark, smudged, smokey look. Use dark black kohl and eyeliner on the eyelid and bottom lash line. Then, us a heavy volumizing mascara, a jet black one for intense lashes to add to the smudged look. Groomed eyebrows add definition and highlight your eyes. As a matter of fact, groomed brows make you look younger as well.
Defined cheekbones
You should use a matte bronzer and softly spread it under the cheekbones to help define your face. A double colour blush is to be used for contouring and highlighting your cheekbones for an appealing look.
Nude hues for lips
A nude lip pencil will come in handy for that soft look. Fill in your lips with a satin finish lip colour in nude tones and add lots of gloss for that wet look.
Casual chic look
Soft eyes
Pastel tones on eyelids as a single eyeshadow would work well for such an appearance. Finely shaped brows could be achieved by using a dark brown eyeshadow/eye pencil. Don't forget to arch your eyebrows as this well help accentuate your facial features.
Warm cheeks
For softly defined cheeks, stick to using a light, matte finish blush to keep it simple and casual yet chic. Skip the contouring, as this look as not meant to be too bold.
Pink lips
Soft pink lips for this look are ideal. Define your lips using a soft pink or coral lip liner and fill in with same colour. The texture of the lipstick can be sheer to give a creamy yet subtle finish.
Beach Babe
Golden bronzing
Use a soft golden tone to the skin using a gold highlighter over the foundation. Keep the foundation minimal or just use a concealer and dust some loose powder over it to not look made up. Bronzers in tones of gold work wonders for the beach. Stick to taupes, browns if you wish to avoid shimmer. Finish using a cream based highlighter in gold/ bronzer as highlighter on cheeks, eyes and centre of the face.
Earthy tones for the eyes
Since the beach look is all about sticking to earthy tones, one can use a brown eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eyes for intensity. This is a softer version of the smokey eyes done simply with single eyeshadow in tones of browns rather than black. Add mascara to the lashes, preferably waterproof if you are going to take a dip in the beach or the pool.
Neutral lips
Stick to neutral lip colours and add a hint of gloss to the centre of the lips for a dewy yet fresh look. Lipstick shades like taupe, coffee brown, or even baby pink could be good options.
