Loni Anderson Death News: Renowned Hollywood actress Loni Anderson has died aged 79. She was a few months away from touching 80.

Best known for her role on the 1970s and '80s TV sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati, the actress was suffering from 'an acute prolonged illness'.

Speaking to the media, her family members stated - "We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother."

Anderson is survived by her husband Bob Flick (they wed in 2008), daughter Deidra, son Quinton, stepson Adam Flick and four grandchildren.
