Infections of hepatitis C are 83 per cent more prevalent among people living in north India says a report from SRL Diagnostics. Hepatitis with five types of viruses namely A B C D and E refers to the inflammation of liver and can be self-limiting or progress causing liver fibrosis (scarring) cirrhosis or liver cancer.
