Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced that quick steps will be taken to finish incomplete work related to the opening of new facilities at AIIMS in Odisha. He promises central assistance to the health sector in Odisha.
Reportedly, Harsh Vardhan visited Bhubaneswar AIIMS campus and analysed its overall functioning. He urged the chief minister to look into areas like creating accommodation of indoor patients and provide assistance for the same. Steps to start up new departments like mental health and neurosciences, cancer, cardiothoracic and cardiac surgery and occupational medicine at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar would be taken.
