Sipping cold milk can provide instant relief from acidity. Applying cold milk can also immensely improve the texture of your skin. Here are ways you can incorporate cold milk in your daily diet and beauty regime.

Relieves acidity

Cold milk can provide instant relief from the burning sensation one suffers in acidity. Milk contains lactic acid that normalises acidity in the stomach. Further, high amounts of calcium can prevent acid build-up and absorb excess acid produced, reducing its symptoms.

  • Wipe your face with it and leave it on for 5 minutes.
  • Now rinse it off with cold water.

  • Add 1 cup cold milk to 4 cups of water in a tub.
  • Add 4 tablespoon brown sugar and cup coconut oil to the tub.
  • Mix the ingredients well.
  • Apply this scrub on your feet and rub it gently in circular motions.
  • Leave it on for 5-8 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
  • Pat dry your feet and apply some moisturiser to it.
  • You can apply this scrub before going to bed.
