Amitabh Bachchan is the most popular actor of Indian cinema. We have seen his strong performances in movies like Baghban, Paa and Sarkar and we have seen him matching his steps effortlessly with younger stars like Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. He has captured a million hearts with his baritone voice and his exceptional personality. The megastar who is currently hosting the eighth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati turns 72 today. Although he has tackled many health problems, Mr Bachchan is still healthy and in an excellent shape. Bachchan does not associate himself with lethargy or exhaustion that comes with age. He hits the gym without fail every day at the break of the dawn to keep him fit and in good spirits. He says, Bear it, struggle with it, allow it to tear into the body, scream out the music with effort and conclude with that something satisfaction of fighting an oddity,” He completely counts on his personal trainer who guides him to do less forceful cardio and weight training.

The actor says that health is the most important factor in his life. He takes special care in maintaining a balanced and healthy diet. He is a strict vegetarian and his diet comprises of vitamins and essential proteins. He makes it a point to avoid fried and junk foods.
