If you have been suffering from a niggling symptom and have been using Google search as a way to help diagnose your condition, you might just be in luck. According to reports the famous search engine is now testing out a new feature that can help connect you with your doctor and find a more concrete diagnosis for your symptoms .

While there isn't much information available about what Google is actually doing, but some users looking for answers to symptoms like knee pain, found a tiny, blue video icon on the right hand corner of the page, which offered the person a chance to speak to a doctor as they looked for answers. So far the feature is only being tried out and will not be available on all user's pages.

What you can expect

According to Engadget, Google will help run these medical chat requests in a Helpouts-like video session where a patient can chat with a doctor to help diagnose their symptoms. Helpout is form of video chat that Google launched in November last year where people can connect with people and learn about any subject they would like to know. According to Engadget this service will be a paid one and has huge potential to help people all over the world access proper medical diagnostic aid.
