Geoffrey BoycottFormer England Batsman Geoffrey Boycott, who was diagnosed with throat cancer, said that he used the ancient Chinese science of Feng Shui to fight the deadly disease. Boycott was diagnosed with cancer in 2002. The doctors detected a lump in his neck and told him that he had only three months to live.

The doctors had told him that there was an 80 percent chance of survival after they described the 'tough course' of treatment. According to the Daily Express, Feng Shui is a Chinese system that apparently harmonises people with the surrounding environment. The science of Feng Shui included installing a water feature in the kitchen, changing the direction he should face while sleeping and keeping a light on all day in the area designated as 'healthy' in Boycott's home.
