Fortis ties up with Rotary Club to launch service for senior citizens

Fortis Hospital, Kalyan along with Rotary Club of Kalyan, launched a special service for the members of 13 senior citizen clubs across Kalyan and Dombivli, yesterday.

Fortis Hospital, Kalyan along with Rotary Club of Kalyan, launched a special service for the members of 13 senior citizen clubs across Kalyan and Dombivli, yesterday. Health cards were distributed in the presence of over 100 senior citizens at Club.

The announcement took place in the presence of Yakub Bhetasiwala, President of Rotary Club of Kalyan and Dr Supriya Amey, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Kalyan. Over 700 senior citizens will benefit from the service that encompasses free and discounted OPD consultations, Physiotherapy sessions and other rehabilitative services.

While talking about the initiative, Dr Amey said, 'As our age progresses, our dependence on medical services increases; to help address this requirement, associated with the Rotary Club of Kalyan, we ve joined hands to help provide healthcare services to the members of the senior citizen groups. We look forward to building this initiative, as we bring in a lot many members of the society into the fold.'
