Former TMC Leader Mukul Roy's Health Condition 'Critical' Post Head Injury: Report

Former TMC leader and Railway Minister Mukul Roy, who got injured in a fall in still in the intensive Care Unit and his health condition has been termed 'critical' by doctors.

Mukul Roy, one of the founding members of the Trinamool Congress and the former Railway Minister was recently admitted to the hospital after he suffered a severe head injury. Reports say that he fell down at his residence at Kanchrapara on Wednesday and sustained the injury.

The medical establishment reported to the media on Saturday saying that Mukul Roy is still in the Intensive Care Unit and that his condition is 'critical.' Health officials said to the media, "His health condition is critical but stable and doctors are monitoring him around the clock."

According to reports, Roy was first admitted to a private hospital but then soon shifted to another private medical establishment in Kolkata city. Doctors said that they found a blood clot in the injured are and it was surgically operated upon.
