Former Indian Wrestler Vinesh Phogat Anounces Pregnancy In Cute Social Media Post
Former Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat and her spouse Somvir Rathee anounced the news of her pregnancy in a cute Instagram post on Thursday saying, "Our love story continues with a new chapter." The Instagram post also featured a foot and heart emoji. Take a look at it below. The anouncement was made in her official social media account. She and her husband Somvir Rathee got married in 2018.
The 30-year-old wrestler had made history as the first Indian female to reach the finals at the Paris Olympics 2024. However, due to an issue with her weight, she was disqualified from participating in the final match. She was reportedly 100 grams over the required weight in her wrestling category.
Fans and wrestlers would post their wishes to the couple on Instagram with Bajrang Punia and Sakshee Malik leading the way. The wrestlers sent their congratulations to Vinesh and Rathee on Instagram.

Vibesh Phogat is a three-time Olymoian and has three gold medals in Commonwealth Games. She is also a two-time bronze medal winner at the World Championships and a gold medalist at both Asian Games and Asian Championships. She also reached the final at the Paris 2024 Olympics but was disqualified after failing a weigh-in on the morning of her gold medal match.
