The new Entourage movie teaser trailer hasn't just excited those who loved the series, but also MMA enthusiasts as it features Ronda Rousey, the most popular MMA female fighter of all time. The UFC women's bantamweight champion is playing herself in the flick and fights Turtle in a cage. She also appears earlier in the trailer asking Turtle if he 'used to be really fat'. Rousey is seen in the trailer with her teammates Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir (along with coach Edmond Tarverdyan) at Glendale Fighting Club in Los Angeles.

Rousey has become quite popular in the last few years, posing posed nude for ESPN The Magazine's 2012 Body Issue, has appeared in The Expendables 3 and is also set to feature in the new Fast and Furious film. Rousey's current stature in MMA is similar to Ali's in boxing. Being fighting fit is in Rousey's genes as her mum was the first American female judo world champion and she claims martial arts helped her become strong. She said in an interview: 'Judo irrevocably changed who I am. I'm challenged mentally in the gym every day, learning new strikes and kicks and submissions. You have to find something you enjoy. I run from my car to the gym because I love it and I'm excited to be there.'

Ronda Rousey's diet

Good nutrition is very important for MMA fighters to help with recovery and also maintain optimum weight. Rousey's diet looks something like this:

Breakfast: Milk, cereal, fruits, fruit juices, bagel with butter, homemade fruit salad, boiled eggs (without yolk).

Lunch: Usually it's chicken soup, a chicken sandwich, fruit, cheese and a salad.

Snacks: Snacks should have no artificial sugar or too much protein. This can include granola bars, air popped popcorn, cheese strings, veggie dips, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

Dinner: Unlike bodybuilders who prefer to have a light dinner, an MMA fighter's dinner has the most calories. So it can be spaghetti, noodles, baked potatoes, and meat with veggies, beans, fish cheese or a chicken sandwich.

Ronda Rouse's Workout

Ronda doesn't even need a gym to get an effective workout as she shows in this video. She gets it on in a hotel room which shows Ronda doing everything including arm-bar training, abdomen exercises, hardcore punching and sparring.

An article on oxgenmag.com, describes her workout regime which includes a killer circuit regime, ball squat and press, stability ball tosses, med-ball plyo push-ups and stability ball falls.

And this killer abs workout will show you the kind of dedication it takes to become an MMA fighter. It includes medicine ball drops on her abs, explosive leg raises, side-way crunches and shadow-boxing while lying down. Seriously, this is not for the faint-hearted.
