Apparently, a website has been using Baba Ramdev's name and pictures to sell products for Ebola prevention.
Baba Ramdev's spokesperson S.K. Tijarawala said that they learned about the website (https://www.ramdevmedicine.com/) in a newspaper. The website claims to have medicines for Ebola prevention and cure. The spokesperson confirmed that they don't have any medicines for Ebola and that they were aware about the website earlier.
Later, on Tuesday the website had put up a disclaimer saying that the 'website is not an official website of Swami Ramdev and Divya pharmacy or Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar.' Although, the website has removed the page that advertises health package with Baba Ramdev's picture, the legal team will be looking deeper into the matter.
Following this incident, health officials have warned consumers to keep a check on any medicines or concoctions that claim to prevent or cure Ebola.
