Kerala Government has also taken precautionary measures to scan passengers travelling from Ebola-hit countries to India. The government has already arranged medical help desks at three of its international airports to screen passengers. Additionally special teams have been deployed at airports in Thiruvanthapuram Kozhikode Kochi for examining passengers as per the guidelines issued by Union Health Ministry State Health Minister V S Sivakumar. Speaking after a high-level meeting he said all necessary preventive measures have been taken. Treatment facilities were also arranged at the medical colleges in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode and General Hospitals here Ernakulam and Kozhikode he added.
