Adelaide Dec 8: Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will unfortunately be missing the first Commonwealth Bank Test against Australia due to a recent thumb injury. Although earlier his injury was confused with a forearm and wrist injury it is now clear that MS Dhoni has suffered a hairline crack at the base of his right thumb. Apparently Dhoni's injury got worse after the ODI series against West Indies. Yet he attended the intensive training session on Sunday. Virat Kohli confirmed Monday that he will be leading the side Tuesday when the four-Test series starts at the Adelaide Oval.
