Dharmendra, the legendary Bollywood actor, died on Monday morning, November 24, at the age of 89. An ambulance arrived at his Juhu mansion, accompanied by strong security. It has now been reported that Dharmendra has passed away. According to recent reports, the renowned actor had been ailing with a long-term illness. His health had deteriorated earlier this month, prompting his admission to the Intensive Care Unit on November 10, 2025, at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. He was later placed on a ventilator after allegedly feeling short of oxygen.
The ambulance left Dharmendra's Juhu home, and soon after, security at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai was intensified. The family has yet to officially announce Dharmendra's death; however, his daughter Esha Deol and Hema Malini were seen arriving at the burial home. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who was also clad in white, was seen arriving at the crematorium via car. Aamir was soon joined by Dharmendra's Sholay co-star Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan.

Earlier this month, the country was shocked to know that Bollywood's He-Man, Dharmendra, had passed away. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and Govinda visited him. However, Dharamji's wife, Hema Malini and their daughter Esha Deol later denounced the fake reports.
Esha had penned an angry note on social media which read, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa's speedy recovery- Esha Deol." Hema Malini, on the other hand, had shared, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."
Dharamendra would have turned 90 years old on December 8. As we await an official statement from the Deol family, we wish them peace and strength.
