When body shaming is the new trend, baring it all in the front of the camera takes a lot of guts. Although it is not very surprising to watch a celebrity pose nude in front o f the camera, baring it all does take a lot of guts, especially when body shaming is rampant. After Kim Kardashian posted a naked selfie on Instagram, Demi Lovato has posed naked for the cover of Vanity Fair. The candid photo shoot was done to promote her new single 'Confident'. In a video from the Vanity Fair shoot, Lovato said being comfortable in one's own skin is confidence. In the video she says, 'I thought there was something incredible about the idea of no makeup whatsoever, no clothes, and no retouching. I would have never thought I would have ever gotten to a place in my life where I could feel comfortable doing that.' 'It s empowering, and it shows other women that you can get to a place where you can overcome obstacles of body image issues. You can feel comfortable and confident in your skin.'
