COVID-19 Live Updates: US Begins Booster Shot Study In People With Autoimmune Disease
As the threat of the third COVID-19 wave looms large in India, fresh cases crossed the 30,000 marks for the fourth consecutive day in Kerala. The state's total tally now stands at 39,77,572. Earlier last week, the government had issued a warning and said the COVID second wave is not over yet and everyone should follow the safety guidelines. Speaking to the media, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the months of September-October are crucial amid the festive season. He added that the possible third wave may hit India in the coming few weeks if people stop following COVID-appropriate behaviour. "We are still in midst of COVID-19 second wave; September and October are crucial in pandemic management because of several festivals."
Meanwhile,India added 45,083 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection in a span of 24 hours. The country's total tally now stands at 3,26,49,947. Follow this space for all news, information, and updates on COVID-19.
