COVID-19 Live Updates: Coronavirus May Reach Its Endemic Stage After A While, Says ICMR Official
Even as the world battles the ferocious second wave of coronavirus which ravaged the world earlier this year, another highly transmissible strain of concern the Delta variant of the COVID-19 is giving rise to new infection cases in various pockets of the world. First detected in India, the Delta COVID-19 variant is now present in almost 100 countries. In US, the highly transmissible Delta strain has overtaken the Alpha variant to become the dominant variant in many parts of the country.
