Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy critical due to hunger strike

SR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite fast has entered the 6th day in the support of Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. However, his health has been deteriorating consistently and is critical. A team of government doctors visited at the hunger strike camp at Nallapadu village in the district. Guntur Govt Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ramesh has performed the medical tests today morning and according to the test report, his pulse rate is 68, BP 130/80, Blood Sugar 61 and Ketones level is 3+. YS Vijayamma the mother of Jagan and wife YS Bharati have arrived at the camp and worried about Jagan s health condition. We hope things get better soon. Mr Reddy previously had vowed to continue his fast till the central government comes forward to accord special status to the state. Now, party leaders want the Centre to respond immediately in view of Mr Reddy's deteriorating condition.
