Washington Mar 4: A new study has found that higher levels of traffic related air pollution around schools leads to slower cognitive development in 7-10-year-old children. The study led by PLOS explained that children who attend highly polluted schools have a slower cognitive development than the ones who go to a less polluted schools even after adjusting for additional factors that affect cognitive development.
