Celina Jaitly, a former Miss India and Bollywood performer, has filed a domestic abuse case against her husband, Peter Haag, with the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Andheri. Jaitly's lawyers, Sandeep Kapur and Niharika Karanjawala Misra from Karanjawala & Co., filed the petition on her behalf last week. The court has issued a summons for Haag to appear by December 12.

Jaitly and Haag married in September 2010 and have three children. Jaitly claims in her plea that years of mental and physical abuse have resulted in a "psychovegetative overload" diagnosis. She adds that the alleged abuse worsened after 2019.

According to case facts, the complaint, filed under the Domestic Violence Act, included charges of cruelty, manipulation, and physical and emotional abuse. The matter was given to SC Tadye, Ld. Judicial Magistrate First Class, for verification and notice. Celina is seeking 50 crore in damages and compensation for loss of income and property, according to ANI reports.
