Have you always wondered how the likes of Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and Britney Spears stay so slim? It turns their secret is a Scottish recipe of seaweed and sticky willies plant. The unusual combination that was first created in 1913 has now been licensed in anti-fat tablet form known as Quantrim and over 250,000 pre-orders have been placed by retailers. 100 years on, it has become the latest craze in slimming.
The ingredients in Quantrim include Bladderwrack, a seaweed and Sticky Willies, a commonly found weed cleavers. Together they combine to raise body's metabolism and help to burn more calories. About 100 years ago, in 1913, Scottish herbalist William Box created the Slimwell Tablets by putting the two together.
According to Quantrim spokesperson it is a safe, natural weight-loss aid that will enable everyone to achieve their ideal weight with fewer struggles than dieting alone. The tablet claims to reduce hunger pains and burn fat and cellulite by increasing natural energy levels and metabolism.
