CBSE Exam Results Are Out: How to Stay Mentally Strong and Content
The exam has brought many sets of emotions, from unexpected happiness and disappointments. While some have passed with flying colours the other lament over the unexpected setback.
Your work is done, and what is gone is gone. Prioritise keeping yourself away from negative sources or information that adversely affects your mind. Despite what the results are, take a short break to relax, rewind and practice your hobbies; this will help you connect with yourself and do better when it comes to figuring out things during uncertain times. Connecting with yourself will help remind you of your strengths and the potential career scope that your strengths can direct you toward.
Comparison Is Catastrophic
You are your hero, no one knows your journey better than yourself. Don't care about what someone else has achieved but focus on your path and achievements. They could be better but you did your best, and you are your competition. It's important to remember not to compare your performance with someone else's performance as it pushes us to neglect our achievements and kills our happiness, because as they say "Comparison is the death of all good."

Try To Be Physically Active
It is completely humane to feel burned out and lethargic after the unexpected, and that pushes a lot of people to be physically inactive as their mind convinces them that they lack energy and the motivation to move ahead. It is important to play with our minds before it plays us, go out and be physically active as it would help you engage in other activities and get the stamina to face the challenges.
Mindfulness Is The Key
A mind is the engine of the body, so make sure you put the right fuels there. During such distressful moments and times, it is important to resort to mindfulness through meditation, yoga and progressive muscle relaxation which will help you maintain a balance of mind that can keep you calm and patient to deal with anything that comes after the results.
Take Care of Your Body
Your body is what you make of it, it is important to prioritise taking care of it by eating well, drinking enough water and getting proper sleep. Have meals that are rich in nutrients, stay hydrated by drinking enough water and don't forget to get proper sleep. This will help your body stay healthy and self-sufficient to deal with any anxiety or depression. Eating good means feeling good and your body deserves the care and all good feelings.
Have Conversations
Don't keep all emotions to yourself, but talk them out. Having more conversations will help you identify your emotions and take them out, which will help you release anxiety and depression. Being vocal about our thoughts proves to be significant in combating negativity and depression as it provides a channel to filter our negativity and self-destructive thoughts.
Know That This Isn't The End
Whatever the results are, this is not the end of life. if you cannot get more, then know there is someone who wants exactly what you have achieved. If you have failed, then remember that there is someone who missed the opportunity to learn. This is not the end but just a midway station in the journey of life, and it might give you a chance to board an unexpected train that takes you to a possibly better place than what you think is the best at the moment.
Moreover, acknowledging your feelings, focusing on your past achievements and reaching out to a professional can help you deal even better and believe that there is life full of opportunities waiting for you at the threshold of life.
