Wellington, June 11: A man in China has had a staggering 420 kidney stones removed in an emergency operation after doctors blamed 'excessive consumption of tofu' for his unusual condition. They were removed in a two-hour operation at Dongyang People's Hospital, after know as only Mr. He, from Sheijang province in eastern China, suffered intense abdominal pain, Stuff.co.nz has reported.

He's records also showed some of the stones were diagnosed several years ago, but due to 'laziness' he did nothing about the problem then. Doctors told He, who does not like drinking water, to eat less tofu.
