Bollywood Actor Govinda Suffers Bullet Injury Accidentally, Admitted In Hospital
Govinda Health Update: Bollywood actor Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg with his gun on Tuesday morning. According to initial reports, the actor accidentally shot himself with his revolver this morning while cleaning the weapon. He sustained a bullet injury to his leg and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. "Govinda is admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital," sources told media.
Speaking to the media about the incident, the actor's manager said, "Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now."
Govinda is known for delivering comedy blockbusters like Coolie No. 1, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Swarg, Saajan Chale Sasural, Raja Babu, Rajaji, Partner, and others. Govinda's most recent appearance on the big screen was in the 2019 film Rangeela Raja, directed by Pahlaj Nihalani. Unfortunately, the movie was a commercial failure, leading Govinda to take a hiatus from acting since then.
Bullet injuries to the leg can be extremely dangerous due to the potential for severe complications such as bleeding, infection, nerve damage, bone fractures, compartment syndrome, and even amputation. "Prompt medical attention is crucial for preventing these complications and improving the chances of a full recovery. However, as per reports, the Bollywood actor's bullet injury has not led to any life-threatening condition and he is responding well to the treatment process.
