Bollywood actor Deven Verma dies due to heart attack and kidney failure

77-year old veteran Bollywood actor Deven Verma passed away following heart attack and kidney failure at 2 am on Tuesday.

The novice director and producer, who was living in Pune, was suffering from diabetes and was unwell for quite a while before he developed complications. According to family sources, his funeral will be performed in the afternoon at the Yerawada crematorium. He is survived by his wife Rupa Ganguly, the younger daughter of the late legendary actor Ashok Kumar.

Verma breathed his last in Pune, where he graduated in politics and sociology before joining the television and Bollywood industry. The legendary actor is known for his roles in movies such as 'Angoor', 'Chori Mera Kaam', 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Bemisal', 'Judaai', 'Dil To Paagal Hai' and 'Kora Kagaz'.
