Sidharth Shukla, a well-known television and film actor, died of a heart attack on Thursday. Sidharth was 40 years old when he won the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 13'. Sidharth is most known for his performances in the daily soaps "Balika Vadhu" and "Dil Se Dil Tak." As soon as the news of Sidharth Shukla's death broke in the media, a slew of celebrities and fans rushed Twitter with condolence messages, and the actor became a social media sensation!
Shukla had a severe heart attack at 10:30 a.m. A top Cooper Hospital officer informed PTI, "He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago." His death has been verified by Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. He took some medicine before sleeping and didn't wake up, according to hospital sources. The hospital afterwards verified that he had died of a heart attack.
A study published in the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research found that cases of cardiovascular diseases are on a rise among people under the age of 50. Dr Tilak Suvarna, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai says, "Indians have a heart attack 8-10 years earlier than other ethnic groups on average. According to estimates, 40% of persons in our nation who have heart attacks are under the age of 55."
