The race for a vaccine for COVID-19 is hotting up with may candidates already in the human trials phase. In India too scientists are trying to develop an effective vaccine at the earliest. On Friday Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech announced that the Phase-I clinical trials of India's first indigenous COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin began across the country on July 15.
