Asrani Death News: Veteran Bollywood actor Asrani breathed his last on Monday. He was 84. His nephew Ashok Asrani confirmed the news.
News agency ANI tweeted, "Actor-director Govardhan Asrani, popularly known as 'Asrani' passed away in Mumbai today after a prolonged illness. His last rites were performed at Santacruz Crematorium."

According to the reports, Asrani was battling prolonged illnes and succumed to the condition at 3pm on Monday. Speaking to the media, Asrani's manager, Babubhai Thiba, said, "Asrani passed away today at 3 PM at Arogya Nidhi Hospital, Juhu. He is survived by his wife, sister, and nephew."
As reports confirmed that the veteran actor had been suffering from age-related ailments, let's take a quick look at some of the major health issues that an person may suffer after crossing 80. Speaking to TheHealthSite.com, Dr Nayana Chatterjee, general physician, Kolkata, said, "Aftr reaching 80, a person's body can develop several health issues depending on the lifestyle choices he/she is making. While the list is huge, some of the common issues include - high blood pressure, dementia, heart diseases, kidney failure, uncontrolled diabetes, eyesight issues, etc."
Just hours before his demise, he shared Diwali greetings with fans on social media. His last rites were performed at the Santacruz Crematorium in Mumbai, attended by close family members. News agency ANI shared images from the ceremony.
