Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CISRO) conducted a study where they found that juice from the fruit drastically cut symptoms of the hangoverthe next day when consumed before drinking, Fox News reported.
The fruit, also known as Korean or nashi-pear was also shown to reduce common symptoms like memory loss, nausea and sensitivity to light, and best of all, it improved levels of concentration. You can even add salt or honey, ginger or barley water to the blender as these ingredients are also effective in warding off hangovers.
It is important to stay hydrated to avoid hangovers. Drink a glass or more of water before you go to bed at night. A glass of lime water before going to bed or when you wake up can also help you get rid of the nauseating feeling. Alcohol usually saps the body of the natural electrolytes and sugar and adding salt, sugar or honey can help in restoring them thus beating the symptoms of hangovers.
