As Asaram is facing charges of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in his ashram and iscurrently in jail, his family woes seem to continue.
A woman has lodged a case against Asaram's son Narayan Sai. The woman alleges that in 2004, Narayan Sai fraudulently got her married to his disciple, who was already married. The woman said in her complaint that she was told that the disciple who was to be her husband was a divorcee, but it was untrue.
The woman also claims that when she went to complain to Sai during a pravachan, he molested her. Sai then threatened her not to disclose this to anyone.
But after Asaram was caught and jailed, the woman said she mustered courage to complain to the police.
Based on the complaint filed, the Indore Police have filed a case against Sai for cheating, criminal intimidation and criminal conspiracy.
The case is likely to be heard in a court on Monday.
