Obesity has long been linked to numerous problems. According to a new study published in the journal Brain Behavior and Immunity obese people are at a higher risk of contracting diseases like cancer heart disease and type 2 diabetes. The study highlights that overweight individuals have a higher levels of stress-induced inflammation compared to healthy weight individuals which puts them at risk of stress-related diseases. 'We have known that overweight and obese individuals already have chronic low grade inflammation' said principal investigator Nicolas Rohleder a professor at the Brandeis University US. 'Now it seems that when you add stress to
