Anunay Sood's family requested, "We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace." Apart from the confirmation news, the family did not disclose any update on the cause of his death.

The police official said that the team was alerted about the demise of the travel influencer and photographer in the 3100 Block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. The officer told the media, "Officers assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report."
