Amitabh Bachchan remembers Coolie accident, thanks fans for prayers

The actor thanks his well-wishers for their love and support.

Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan thanked all his fans and well-wishers who prayed for him when he was injured on the set of 'Coolie'. Injured while filming a fight sequence with co-star Puneet Issar, Mr Bachchan was in the hospital for almost two months. The action sequence went wrong when Issar accidently hit Mr Bachchan on his abdomen and he landed on the edge of the table. The actor suffered internal bleeding and was rushed to the hospital. His surgery took place on August 2 and it took him a long time to recover. The actor considers this accident as his 'rebirth in a sense'.

He tweeted a photo of his return home and seeing his father in tears.
