If your heart beats too fast, too slow or with an irregular rhythm it is known as an irregular heartbeat. The most common type of arrhythmia is premature or extra beats which are a fluttering in the chest or a feeling of a skipped heartbeat. Here, are the types of arrhythmias.

  • Slow heartbeat: Bradycardia
  • Fast heartbeat: Tachycardia
  • Irregular heartbeat: flutter or fibrillation
  • Early heartbeat: premature contraction

The symptoms may vary on depending the type of arrhythmia you have. Factors like stress, diabetes, hypertension, smoking, excessive coffee consumption and so on can take a toll on your heart health and hamper your quality of life..
