Ace Frehley Death: Legendary Rock guitarist Ace Frehley who is a cofounding member of KISS has died at age 74, and his official cause of death has now been disclosed. According to the examiner's office in New Jersey, his passing result from blunt trauma injuries to his head after a fall which has been ruled as an accidental death.
Frehley reportedly even fell in late September at his home studio, which initially described as a minor incident, and even the consequences proved far more serious. He even sustained a skull fracture at the back of his head and the type of brain bleed just beneath the outer covering of the brain and subsequently a stroke. Even despite a lot of surgical efforts which also included a procedure to relieve the pressure of the brain bleed, his condition was really worst. His family also made a difficult decision to remove him from life support and he passed on October 16, 2025.When this incident took place, Frehley cancelled the remaining dates of his 2025 tour, which was due to his ongoing medical issues and his death also marks a major loss for the rock community. He brought a distinct "spaceman" identity to KISS that helped shape their theatrical persona and sound from the early 1970s.
