Abhishek Bachchan to sport leaner look for his next home production

Abhishek BachchanAbhishek Bachchan is not one of those actors you associate fitness with, but the actor has hit the gym with a vengeance for his next home production which will be directed by Amit Sharma. He has started training under fitness coach Prashant Sawant and is working hard to sport a meaner and leaner physique in the film. Prashant Sawant has also trained the likes of Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan and Siddarth Malhotra. Bachchan Jr was even spotted with a fitness wearable which monitors his body movements and calories burned. He said: 'Yes, I wear it every day. I have to look slimmer for my home production, which will begin in November.' His trainer Prashant said: 'Abhishek Bachchan has become more involved with fitness than he has ever been.'

Earlier, we reported that Abhishek, along with his Happy New Year co-star Shah Rukh Khan had turned to a device called Technoshape to make them even slimmer. A little more expensive than your average sauna belt (one unit costs around Rs15.5 lakh), the belt is pretty popular in the UK. It's endorsed by the likes of Lisa Snowdon, Millie Mackintosh and Peter Andre. Even star footballer Wayne Rooney's wife Colleen used it get rid of her post-pregnancy flab and loved the results. The Technoshape website claims that it transforms the body's ability to burn fat around the midriff, using a combination of exercise to increase metabolism and patented Pressure Pause Therapy to increase blood circulation locally. Results include a flatter stomach, slimmer waist and firmer skin, as well as improved wellbeing.

So are we going to get another Farhan Akhtaresque Bhaag Milkha Bhaag transformation? We'll just have to wait and watch.
