A 7-year-old girl in Bengaluru has died from severe dengue shock syndrome, raising fresh concerns over rising cases and child safety.
In a heartbreaking incident, a seven-year-old girl from West Bengal died in Bengaluru on December 3 after developing severe Dengue shock syndrome, a life-threatening complication of dengue. The child named Jannatun Khatun had recently moved her migrant worker parents from Nadia district to a temporary Shanty in Varthur. According to the Vydehi Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, the God was admitted to the paediatric ICU in a critical condition after five days of constant fever. According to doctors, her condition was extremely bad, with weak, peripheral pulses and dangerously low blood pressure, which can later lead to multiple organ failure caused by severe danger.
