Heart Attack Death News: In a tragic turn of events, a 55-year-old obstetrics and gynaecology specialist at Nilgiri sub-division died while on duty on Sunday.

According to the reports, Dr Trinath Pal had reported for duty at around 8 am and was attending to patients in OPD when he complained of severe chest pain. However, moments later, he went to the washroom but did not return for some time. Upon investigation, the hospital team found him lying unconcious and later Dr Pal was declared dead.

Dr Rama Chandra Barik, professor and head of the cardiology department, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, and a classmate of Dr Pal, said his friend had heart-related problems. "He underwent bypass surgery earlier. He was taking medicines for his heart issues," he added.
