Dr Wayne Dyer, a self-help guru and a motivational speaker passed away on Saturday at the age of 75. He was the author of the best seller 'Your Erroneous Zones' and was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia in 2009, as reported by nbcnews.com. However, he claimed to have been cured of the disease with the help of positive thinking, daily exercise and 'psychic surgery'.
Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres were a few of his many followers. Dyer was also a frequent guest on Oprah's Talk show an also officiated Ellen DeGeneres wedding.
He was an inspiration to many and was adopted as a guide to better living.
